Anton Paar viscometers are compatible with many optional accessories. 

When only a limited amount of steel is available, or you wish to measure with a fixed, defined shear rate, working with a specific measurement chamber and coaxial spindles is recommended. They come in different sizes and shapes and are linked to several ISO and DIN standards. The spindles are magnetically coupled, which increases the speed per measurement and increases the durability. 

When working with products that are difficult to wash, disposable cups can be a good solution. The detection and measurement of very low viscosities is possible thanks to the specially designed Ultra-low measuring system. 

Determining the flow behaviour of gels, pastes and creams poses additional challenges. These are answered by the fully digitalised Heli-Plus system. The combination of a climbing motor and T-bar spindles, which results in a spiral spindle movement, determines the flow behaviour of this type of products in a representative and accurate manner.
