Simultaneous measurement of bathymetry, flows, stream profiling and water quality
The Sontek M9 ADCP module is basically used for determining "true" flow, flow velocity and bottom profiling in our watercourses.
Sontek is part of the Xylem group, which also includes YSI and Hypack, among others. The cooperation between the three has made the M9 a true Swiss army knife for hydrology. With the same configuration, bathymetry (surveying) measurements can be carried out in the same simple way.
Coupling the YSI EXO multi-parameter probe makes it possible to simultaneously determine up to 7 water quality parameters.
To make work on the water easier, faster and yet safer, YSI has developed the RQpod, which makes the "little boat" remotely controllable, but can also perform measurements completely independently. The plotting in the Hypack software then provides an understandable insight into the composition of our inland water.
