The redo::lyser is S::CAN’s redox sensor and is used for measuring the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) in drinking water, wastewater or surface water.
This sensor works on the basis of a non-porous and non-running combined reference electrode. This ensures an ORP measurement that is stable over a long period of time with minimal need for maintenance. These electrodes do need to be replaced after a while. This depends on the application and the intensity of use.
This sensor also contains a temperature sensor, so that the ORP value is directly compensated for temperature influences. The temperature measured can also be displayed separately.
The cleaning of this sensor is done by means of compressed air. It can be set up in-situ or in a flow cell. The sensor can be easily connected to a terminal according to the “plug & measure” principle. This is because it has already been calibrated after production. The calibration data are stored in the internal memory of the probe and are thus automatically recognised.
- Measuring principle: combined glass and reference electrode.
- Measures the ORP/redox.
- Automatic cleaning via compressed air.
- Automatic compensation for temperature. •Installation: submerged in-situ or in flow cell.
