The Motus Wave Buoy is the perfect solution for environmental studies in coastal waters. It’s a versatile platform that can be tailor-made according to your specific project.
This robust buoy has demonstrated many times that it enables highly accurate and reliable meteorological and oceanographic measurements. Flow velocity profiles can be corrected for buoy movements via an intelligent compensation system. In addition to wave sensors and flow rate sensors, this buoy can also be equipped with a large number of meteorological and (external) water quality sensors with anti-biofouling options.
The Motus buoy has already been used in applications related to navigation safety, oceanographic modelling and forecasting, dredging, oil and gas exploration and offshore wind farms.
