The Chill Bucket is designed to keep your samples cool for hours without the use of ice, but by using beads.
These small, dry, metal beads are impervious to moisture and gas and have high thermal conductivity, resulting in amazing thermal uniformity. Simply place some chillpacks or a handful of dry ice on the bottom of the bucket, place the beads on top and place a sample holder or vessel of any size or shape in the beads.
The Chill Bucket in combination with the beads offers many advantages over traditional cooling methods using ice.
- No racks or accessories needed: the beads adapt to any size or shape.
- No floating samples and therefore no information labels that can come loose.
- No water, so samples are not immersed and there is no risk of contamination.
Instead of melting ice, floating samples, loosening labels and contamination risks, your samples are now constantly cooled and safely held in place with the help of the Chill Bucket.
