The Faster SafeFAST XXL are primarily designed to house large specialised automatic instruments such as test robot installations or production systems.
As microbiological safety cabinets are in accordance with EN 12469-2000, they are suitable for product, personnel and environmental protection when dealing with harmful agents that are pathogenic to humans and/or animals, as defined in the applicable international standards. They are used in various applications such as: microbiology, virology, haematology, cell culture, genetics and handling of dangerous substances for humans or animals.
70% of the filtered air is recirculated (after passing through a H14 HEPA/ULPA filter) in an air purity class ISO 3, according to ISO 14644-1 laminar flow pattern down into the working chamber and the remaining 30% is discharged to atmosphere through another H14 HEPA/ULPA filter.
