Retractable process connections, changeover probes, are fittings for inline sensors such as pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and optical sensors.
The retractable probes can be operated manually or pneumatically. The sensors are then located in a rinsing chamber, completely isolated from the process. Here they can be rinsed with water or another cleaning product. The sensors can then be safely removed for maintenance or replacement.
By using the pneumatic versions, automation of cleaning and even calibration can be organised.
