The ProOBOD is an optical probe that measures biochemical oxygen demand very efficiently by means of a luminescence method. This probe with agitator fits standard 300ml BOD bottles. The ProOBOD can be used with the YSI ProODO, ProSolo or ProDSS. The virtually silent agitator improves the dissolved oxygen response time and ensures a representative measurement.
Thanks to optical technology, the probe requires no warm-up time and requires minimal maintenance as there is no membrane to be replaced each time.
