The IJinus CSC and LCS overflow detectors detect overflow by means of a capacitive measurement with the CapAir® technology air reference. This ensures that maintenance is significantly reduced, in contrast to traditional resistive and capacitive technology. Both the CSC and the LCS work on this principle. The difference is in the cabling with the LCS being wireless.
These sensors are compact, have a high autonomy and can easily be connected to the LOGV3 data loggers or LNU level gauges. The data can be read locally via radio or forwarded externally via HF, Sigfox, GSM or GPRS. An alarm is forwarded to the logger to which the detector is connected when an overflow occurs. This measurement remains active until the level has dropped again and no more overflow is measured. This way, the duration of the overflow can be measured indicatively.
