FlowTracker 2

The FlowTracker 2 provides the accuracy of the lab in a handheld and user-friendly design. Using the SonTek ADV (Acoustic Doppler Velocity) technique, water velocities ranging from 1 mm/s to 5 mm/s can be measured in water depths down to 2 cm. 

The portable ADV is easily installed on a measuring rod, allowing smooth and accurate operations in the field. The instrument includes a program that guides the user throughout the measurements and it automatically calculates the flow rates based on the ISO standard. Given its light weight, large color screen, built-in logger, battery, bluetooth and USB connection, the FlowTracker is a flexible device which is immediately ready for use in the field. 

In addition, there is also a more compact version designed for laboratory use: the Flowtracker 2 Lab. It can easily be used for flow velocity measurements in aquaculture or aquarium tanks, flumes or in other test set-ups.
