With a width of only 64cm, the SmartFAST MINI is ideal when space is at a premium. It is a small ISO 3 positive pressure cabinet that is used for microbial and biological purposes. The cabinet provides a particle-free working environment.
The SmartFAST is unique in that it can be used as both a positive and negative pressure cabinet. At positive pressure, ambient air is drawn in at the top and laminar flow through a HEPA filter is ensured over the working surface. Part of the air disappears through the window opening and part is recirculated to the HEPA filter. By closing the supply valve at the top, this recirculation turns the cabinet into a negative pressure cabinet and the air is blown out through the HEPA. The operator is protected in this case.
