Autonomous measuring systems
When you hear the word "autonomous", you immediately think of independent, self-contained. In certain circumstances, it can be interesting to use an autonomous measuring system. For example, do you encounter the problem that there’s no mains power nearby? Do you want to measure in a remote location? Are you using a mobile setup? We will, of course, be pleased to help you with a customised solution to ensure the independence of your measurement set-up.
Cables, so outdated
The days of having to lay long, awkward and often expensive cables for your measurement application are over. Batteries take over, especially in the more remote locations. They’re becoming ever more compact and reliable, and the possibilities are endless.
You can opt for a non-rechargeable battery and replace it before it runs out. Or you can choose two rechargeable batteries that you can swap around. You charge one battery and then swap it with the empty one on the spot.
Many sensors are already offered with a battery as standard. For other systems, a battery case can be made and connected without any problem.
The modem for transmitting data can also be easily stored in a cabinet or case, so that all the additional components of your measuring system are now protected against vandalism, weather and wind.
Don't feel like keeping an eye on the battery level and going to the measurement application all the time? Then a battery cabinet powered by solar energy is perfect for you. Inside this cabinet is a rechargeable battery that is connected to and charged by a solar panel mounted on top of the cabinet. This cabinet is now ready to be placed on site and to power your sensors completely autonomously.
