Calibration under ISO 17025
ISO17025 accreditation for the calibration of your spectrocolorimeter, irrespective of the make and model
Periodic maintenance of your device ensures its proper functioning, longer service life and improved accuracy. A calibration or verification can show whether the device meets the requirements established by the manufacturer or other imposed requirements. These days, however, an ordinary calibration certificate is often not adequate for the increasing quality requirements of the contemporary market.
Internationally recognised, independent proof is needed to demonstrate to government agencies, partners and customers around the world that your device, of any make or model, functions reliably. At ELSCOLAB, you can obtain this in the form of calibration of your spectrocolorimeter under ISO 17025 accreditation. This calibration guarantees the traceability of the device to international standards, which is therefore necessary to compare your measurement results worldwide. You can also immediately specify the ISO 17025 calibration of a spectrocolorimeter in the maintenance contract.
“As Left” or “As Found As Left”?
It is recommended to be aware of how your device performed last year. If you want to know how the device performed before maintenance and any adjustments were carried out by the service engineers, you need to add an "As Found" calibration in addition to the standard "As Left" calibration.
Services under ISO17025
Our "calibration of a spectrocolorimeter" and "calibration of a BCRA CCS II colour tile set" services are accredited under the ISO 17025:2017 standard by BELAC. Accreditation was awarded to our METAC department after a comprehensive audit process that reviewed our technical methods, competence and quality system. The METAC division stands for "measurement under accreditation". BELAC in turn is a member of ILAC (international Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation). The full scope and accreditation certificate awarded to Elscolab NV is available on the BELAC website.
