Biodecontamination
Before maintenance or filter replacement can take place, proper decontamination is essential. We use vapour-phase hydrogen peroxide (V-PHP) as a biocidal agent. This gas spreads evenly, reaches even hard-to-access areas and achieves a 6-log reduction of microorganisms on all exposed surfaces, including HEPA filters. The process is fully automated and easy to monitor. After completion, the agent is broken down into water and oxygen, leaving no residue behind.
Validation
After decontamination, we perform a thorough validation of the cabinets. This includes checks of:
- Air velocities and airflow patterns
- HEPA filter integrity
- Alarm functions, indicators and UV lamps
- Particle counts on the work surface
These validations confirm that your equipment meets all required safety and performance standards. Upon request, optional bacteriological or noise measurements can also be performed.
Maintenance
Preventive maintenance extends the lifetime of your equipment and helps prevent malfunctions. Our service engineers inspect all critical components and replace wear-sensitive parts when needed, always in consultation with you. When filters need replacement, this can be combined with decontamination, so your cabinet is immediately safe for use again.
