S::CAN’s soli::lyser is an optical probe that measures the concentration of suspended particles directly in wastewater.
This is done using infrared (880 nm) absorption as the measurement technique. This sensor uses an automatic cleaning system that uses compressed air to remove contamination.
The sensor can be easily connected to a terminal according to the “plug & measure” principle. This is because it has already been calibrated after production. The calibration data are stored in the internal memory of the probe and are thus automatically recognised. They are installed in-situ in the medium or in a flow cell.
- Measuring principle: optical based on infrared absorption (880 nm).
- Measures the amount of suspended substances (TSS).
- Cleaning via compressed air.
- Installation: submerged in-situ or in flow cell.
