The ammo::lyser is the ion selective ammonium sensor from S::CAN that can be used in drinking water and wastewater.
Thanks to its versatile housing, you can supplement it according to your own needs. First of all, a reference electrode is required. This electrode uses the non-running electrolyte and non-porous material that S::CAN uses in their sensors. In addition, an ammonium selective electrode in combination with a temperature sensor takes care of your ammonium measurement. Further electrodes can be added for measuring pH, potassium and chlorine ions (Cl-). The influence of these parameters can be directly compensated for during a measurement.
The cleaning of this sensor is done by means of compressed air. It can be set up in-situ or in a flow cell. The sensor can be easily connected to a terminal according to the plug & measure principle. This is because it has already been calibrated after production. The calibration data are stored in the internal memory of the probe and are thus automatically recognised.
- Measuring principle: ion selective electrodes.
- Ammonium and temperature with possibility to measure pH, Cl- and potassium.
- Automatic cleaning via compressed air.
- Automatic compensation for temperature and, if required, pH and potassium.
- Placement: in-situ or in flow cell.
