Sensors for dissolved oxygen and oxygen in gaseous phase. Oxygen sensors today work on the basis of luminescence. The so-called optical oxygen sensors. They require much less maintenance and are immediately usable in comparison to classical amperometric or polarographic oxygen electrodes (Clark cells).
Oxygen electrodes are used in fermentation processes in the pharmaceutical, biotechnological and food industries. Therefore, the electrodes must be hygienic and comply with international standards and guidelines. Oxygen sensors are also used in energy production. The water circuit in these processes must contain no or only very low oxygen concentrations. Oxygen measurements also occur in (waste) water treatment.
Oxygen sensors are digital and intelligent. They use the MemoSens protocol. This means that sensors are pre-calibrated and an algorithm gives you an indication of service life and wear.
