DC Grids 2026
DC Grids 2026: discover the future of DC networks
What will tomorrow's electricity grid look like? During DC Grids 2026, experts from industry, academia and government come together to exchange knowledge on the development and application of DC networks.
The venue fits perfectly into that story. The historic Transfo site in Zwevegem is home to the RE/SOURCED DC grid, one of the first operational low-voltage DC networks in Europe. This living lab is used to test and further develop DC technologies in practice.
Over three days, various aspects of DC technology take centre stage. Keynotes, interactive sessions and practical case studies cover topics such as DC network design, protection, power quality, standardisation and applications in industry, data centres and microgrids.
You will also get the chance to visit the RE/SOURCED DC grid and get acquainted with current DC projects and technologies.
