UV sensor - 1 wavelength

Model AF45 is a high precision UV absorption sensor with one wavelength and a reference channel. It measures the attenuation of light as it passes through the process fluid. The AF45 sensor, is specially designed for inline installation and is non-invasive. 

Its modular structure offers maximum flexibility for direct connection to the production line, without influencing the measurement accuracy. The fluid is crossed by a focused and constant light beam. This measurement of the intensity of the light transmitted relative to the light emitted allows the monitoring of variations in product concentration in line and during production. 

By adjusting the optical path, we can detect concentrations in the order of ppm but also in %. The AF45 model sensor uses ultraviolet light, the measurement wavelengths are determined by the installation of permanent optical filters. The available wavelengths are 254, 280, 290, 300, 313 nm (other wavelengths are in preparation). The reference signal on the lamp side allows very stable measurements and no maintenance.
