The Sommer TQ-S is a mobile flow measurement system for turbulent waterways with an unknown cross-sectional profile.
The flow measurement is performed using the proven tracer dilution method. It can be deployed in turbulent rivers, creeks or waterways for which cross-sectional profile data is not available. Also consider verification measurements on and around pumping stations with many external influences that make a discharge measurement almost impossible.
As the tracer material, salt or a fluorescent can be used. After introducing a known amount of tracer material, the flow rate can be determined very accurately with two optical fluorescence probes or two conductivity probes. Very easy in execution with high quality data within minutes!
