S::CAN’s fluorine::lyser is an ion selective sensor that continuously measures the concentration of dissolved fluorine (F) in drinking water. The temperature is also measured internally and can be displayed separately as a parameter.
These electrodes do need to be replaced after a while, but apart from this it is a measurement that remains stable over a long period of time and needs minimal maintenance. The sensor can be easily connected to a terminal according to the “plug & measure” principle. This is because it has already been calibrated after production. The calibration data are stored in the internal memory of the probe and are thus automatically recognised. The sensors can be placed in-situ or in a flow cell and can be cleaned using compressed air.
