RBSCDB Autumn Meeting
Campus UCharleroi
On 13 November 2026, researchers from Belgium and abroad will gather at Campus UCharleroi for the RBSCDB Autumn Meeting. A day that puts the latest research on cell migration centre stage, and one we're happy to be part of.
Four international keynote speakers will share their latest insights:
- Caterina La Porta (University of Milan) will speak about phase transitions in cell migration.
- Raimon Sunyer Borrell (University of Barcelona) will explain more about how fibroblasts migrate towards physiological stiffness.
- Stephan Huveneers (University of Amsterdam) will show how membrane curvatures at endothelial junctions guide collective migration and angiogenesis.
- Elias Barriga (TU Dresden) will delve deeper into the forces behind embryonic tectonics.
The programme also includes selected abstract presentations, flash talks and an extensive poster session, as well as the presentation of the RBSCDB PhD Excellence Award. The organising committee consists of Maud Martin (ULB), Bert Brône (UHasselt) and Sylvain Gabriele (UMons).
Do you work in cell migration, cell biology or developmental biology? Then this is the moment to catch up on the latest results, and to meet our team right away.
