BACR Annual Meeting 2026

On Friday 20 November 2026, researchers from Belgium and abroad will gather on the Sart Tilman campus in Liège for the annual meeting of the BACR. This meeting focuses on cancer research.

This year, therapy resistance takes centre stage, from both a fundamental and a clinical perspective. Four experts from Belgium, France and Switzerland will share their insights on tumour heterogeneity, radiomics and metabolic vulnerabilities of cancer cells. Scientists can also submit an abstract on any topic within cancer research. Eight abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation, while the others will be presented in the poster sessions. Three prizes will be awarded in each category.
