We look at a measurement system that provides inline insight into a flow that can contain protein and sugar in varying compositions. The origin of sub-processes can be determined with our self-developed data tool so that calamities can be directed to an escape tank in time. Vaisala Inline Biogas Analyzer
The innovative Vaisala biogas analyser combines several unique advantages. The MGP261 measures directly in the pipe, needs calibration only once a year and measures simultaneously CH4, CO2 and H2O (moisture). The moisture measurement is particularly remarkable because for conventional analyzers moisture is always a disturbing factor.
By measuring the moisture in the gas, you can drastically reduce operating costs. The life span of the membranes increases, and the active carbon filter lasts longer! Wear and tear and corrosion are reduced, which also means that less maintenance is required. With the CH4 measurement, you can optimise heat and electricity production and, in combination with the CO2 analysis, keep the fermentation microbiology healthy.
